Noodle Legs

I started doing something else I've been wanting to do for far too long now - going to the gym.
I'm typing this with what feels like every major muscle group in my body sore. I completed my first A/B/(A) and I am excited to keep going. The dieting and weight lifting isn't that bad, the obstacle was getting off my butt, getting my membership, and just doing it. Everything feels so much better. I should have started a long time ago, but there is no point in looking back. Now I have noodle legs to match my ground turkey and whole wheat spaghetti lunches.

Week 1: A/B/A
Week 2: B/A/B

A- 5x5 Barbell deadlift, 5x5 Dumbbell bent-over row,  5x5 Barbell military press
B- 5x5 Barbell squat, 5x5 Barbell bench press, 2x max reps pull-up/chin-up(over hand, wide grip)

Right as I was getting ready to head out, I saw a post on the Mortal Map that lead me to believe a new relic had fallen from the sky. I was PM'ed on IRC that people heard the thunderous sound effect of a new one falling from the heavens.

But it was time to hit the gym - Mortal would be here waiting for me when I got back.

Speaking of relics.

These beautiful things literally fall from the heavens. A monstrous clap is heard and they streak down from above and crash into Nave. Keep your ears (and eyes) open. If you hear that awesome sound, look to where a new portal is overhead. When approached, the 'Gather' technique must be used to lift it - but they can't be held (literally too hot to handle) for about 12 minutes? I don't know how long exactly, but when I fought for the one I claimed it felt like an eternity.  You must wait for them to cool down. The hot message makes you vulnerable for about 11 seconds as the timer completes, be warned.

Once lifted, your newly acquired relic is soul-bound. It cannot be traded off the character. I cannot confirm or deny that they drop when killed but my guess is that they do. They return from whence they came. The description isn't a decoration. If the relic is banked or logged off (in limbo for too much time) they will deteriorate.

Once captured, they must be placed on a reliquary which are sold by the new Spiritist NPC on Spiritist Island in the far south west.

Word on the street is that they all do something different. Different statues adorn the reliquary depending on which relic was captured and placed(color/weight).

They can also be sieged down and taken from each other.

Special thanks to: Kazz, Lord Yoshi, Rhodri, Muloch, Syrane, & CaptainHi5 for defending and escorting this relic against all odds.
